Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Front Desk Manager to join our team as the Empire Hotel. As the Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front desk operations and ensuring exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer experiences.
Responsibilities
· Manage and train front desk staff, ensuring they provide friendly and professional service to all guests.
· Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
· Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, resolving issues promptly and to the guest’s satisfaction.
· Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, room availability, and expected arrivals/departures.
· Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts. Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet the business demands.
· Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
· Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
· Conduct and participate in daily stand-up meetings.
· Identify important information for shift pass on and communicate thoroughly.
· Ongoing training and support for all associates and ensure performance in accordance with hotel brand and company standards.
· Enforce all cash handling and credit card policies, verify banks and deposits at the end of each shift.
· Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area, ensuring it is always clean and well-stocked.
· Act as a guest service agent when needed
Requirements
· A minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role, with at least 1 years in a managerial position.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
· Proficient in using hotel PMS system such as Opera .
· Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
· Ability to handle stressful situations and difficult guests with tact and diplomacy.
· Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
