Responsibilities include: Greeting and welcoming patients Scheduling medical and dental appointments Answering and managing a high volume of phone calls Assisting with patient flow at the front desk and throughout the clinic Updating and maintaining medical records Learning and using medical and dental Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Ensuring HIPAA and clinic PHI policies are followed Understanding provider schedules and scope of practice for accurate scheduling Checking patients in and out Reconciling daily patient visit data with staff Sending referrals and records accurately and promptly Communicating professionally and effectively with patients and staff Staying patient-focused, kind, and solution-oriented Attending monthly staff meetings Occasionally supporting outreach events, health fairs, and community activities Using Microsoft Office and basic computer programs confidently What We’re Looking For Requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment Commitment to service and helping others Prior experience demonstrating customer service or administrative skills Ability to remain patient, calm, and welcoming Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer programs confidently
