We are currently looking to hire a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Office Assistant.
Job Description: As a Front Desk Office Assistant at Bakers Narrows Lodge, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your role is to ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in and check-out process, provide excellent customer service, and assist with various office tasks to keep the resort running efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or office administration is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems (experience with Resnexus is a plus).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude upon arrival.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all paperwork and payments are processed accurately.
  • Provide guests with information about lodge amenities, services, and local attractions, including fishing guides, tours, and recreational activities.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain guest reservation system, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Assist with guest requests, including providing towels, extra amenities, and booking additional services.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns in a calm and professional manner, escalating when necessary.
  • Process payments, balance cash drawer, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with office administration tasks, including filing, inventory tracking, and other clerical duties.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a memorable guest experience.
