Description Front Desk/Office Assistant Handler Law, LLP is an internationally recognized boutique law firm based in downtown Chicago that focuses on Business & Corporate Law, Trusts & Estates and Taxation serving family offices and privately held companies. We are seeking a highly motivated Front Desk Assistant to provide outstanding reception for our clients and support the firm’s day-to-day administrative functions. This is a full-time, in-office position. Key Responsibilities: § Greeting and signing in all clients and visitors § Answering multi-line phone system and directing calls § Maintaining a neat and professional reception area § Forwarding incoming correspondence and voicemails § Mailing documents via USPS, UPS, Certified, FedEx, Messenger § Scanning, reviewing, and editing documents and correspondence § Preparing correspondence § Ordering office supplies § Entering billable time § Preparing expense reports § Handling time-sensitive and confidential material § Maintaining kitchen supplies and kitchen upkeep § Assisting Partners, Associates and Paralegals as needed § Additional duties as assigned Requirements Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required Previous Receptionist or Customer Service experience preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor Eagerness to learn new skills Dependable and punctual Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment Previous law firm experience a plus Competitive compensation and full benefits package offered.
