ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a part-time Front Desk Receptionist / Assistant Office Manager (f/m/d) (10-20 hrs) for our centrally-located office in Berlin-Schöneberg.
Please note that due to the kind of tasks associated to this position, the successful candidate must be physically present at the office location during office hours.
The Assistant Office Manager (f/m/d) works from our front desk/reception and welcomes visitors and employees arriving at the office. In this role you will work alongside our existing Office Manager to take care of all office-related topics. You will be in close contact with several suppliers, e.g. landlord, craftsmen and vendors. The daily business is full of variety and every day is unique. Come make your mark and join our Builders community!
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Among your responsibilities for different operational tasks, in particular you will drive-
- Proactive preparation and coordination of day-to-day office tasks
- Creating an atmosphere in the office to make colleagues and external visitors feel welcome and comfortable
- Visitor management – welcoming and guidance
- Health and safety at the office, including COVID-19 regulations and the relationship with the company doctor
- Supporting the People team with the monthly onboarding of new employees
- Assisting teams with organizing meetings, caterings and general office related duties
- Support in organizing employee events
- Budget management for all office supply expenses
- Receiving external mail and packages and internal distribution
