Mar-Bella Collection is looking for a passionate Front Desk Receptionist to join the Avali hotel team for 2026 in Corfu. Duties & Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Register guests collecting necessary Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner Liaise with the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material Maintain back-office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges) Control the front office supplies and keep inventory of stock Skills Customer service attitude Organizational skills Written and verbal communication skills Outgoing personality Multitasking and prioritizing Problem-solving Ability to work under pressure Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role Experience with hotel PMS, like Fidelio and Opera Excellent verbal and written command of Greek and English language Additional language knowledge would be consider an extra asset (German /French / Russian Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
