Description TPG Pediatrics is looking for a FULL TIME Front Desk Receptionist with 3 to 5 years of medical receptionist experience to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. This position is located at our Chantilly Office, located near the corner of Route 50 and Centreville Road. We are a large, busy pediatric practice in Northern Virginia dedicated to excellent patient care. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of prior medical receptionist experience, as well as experience speaking directly with patients in person and by phone. Experience with eClinicalworks is a plus. TPG uses multiple platforms for scheduling appointments, forms and calls so the applicant should be well versed in basic technology. We are willing to train the right person. The position is 4 1/2 days per week with hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30pm along with a once per month rotation in our Saturday clinic in Chantilly or Alexandria Offices (8am-1pm). Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual will Provide a welcoming, professional greeting to patients and other visitors. Answer a high volume of calls Schedules patient appointments and helps patients complete necessary paperwork. Uses multiple platforms for calls and scheduling Collects payments from patients. This individual should be comfortable discussing finances to help with patient understanding of bills and claims. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND CREDENTIALS: High school diploma/GED required 3 to 5 years experience with medical terminology and insurance knowledge is highly preferred EMR experience is desirable This job description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job requirements.
