JOB SUMMARY

The Receptionist is an important position in our facility. Some of the job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Answer telephone, determine nature of call, and relay information within the facility as necessary
  • Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with established policy and procedures and regulation
  • Maintain a current list of residents by name and room number, emergency phone numbers of on-call personnel, department extensions, key personnel, etc.
  • Locate personnel through the facility paging system when requested by facility designees
  • Report suspicious persons/information to the supervisor immediately
  • Assist with administrative duties
  • Create positive resident outcomes.
  • Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
  • Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
  • Help create a culture of superior customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior administrative and/or clerical experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel
  • Healthcare or long-term care experience a plus
  • Switchboard operation experience preferred
  • Successful criminal background check
