Job Description:
HK Hammam & Spa is a luxury wellness retreat offering Moroccan Hammam rituals, body treatments, and private spa sessions for both men and women. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Receptionist & Coordinator to join our team.
This is a key role requiring someone who can confidently manage the front desk, handle bookings, and help keep the spa running smoothly—especially when the owner is not on-site. As a small business, we are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and comes with prior experience in spa or salon reception, as training in this area will be limited.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in clients with a welcoming, professional approach
  • Manage appointment bookings, emails, and client communications
  • Handle payments, invoicing, and end-of-day reconciliation
  • Keep the reception and client areas tidy and professional at all times
  • Coordinate with the spa team to maintain smooth operations
  • Ensure client privacy and manage discreet, private sessions efficiently
  • Upsell treatments and products where appropriate
  • Act as key support when the owner is unavailable

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role (spa, salon, or wellness reception)
  • Confident using online booking systems (e.g. Fresha)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Trustworthy, organised, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable supporting both male and female clients in a respectful, private setting
