JOB SUMMARY

Keith Holland opticians is an award winning optical practice which prides itself on giving the best in clinical care across all its services. We are therefore seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and will need to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a calm manner. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while providing administrative support to our team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficient in using computerised systems.
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy and active practice environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanour.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
  • Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Manage scheduling and appointments our practice management systems.
  • Maintain an organised front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Handle correspondence, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring timely responses.
  • Support team members with various administrative tasks as required.
