College Accommodation Cork is an Irish owned family run business accommodating students attending 3rd level institutions in Cork City. As well as accommodating Irish students from all over the country we also accommodate a large number of international students from around the globe.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location:

• Primarily based at our Bandon Road student complex known as The Spires Student Accommodation

Tasks:

• Respond to all queries at Front Desk
• Respond to all phone/email queries
• Coordinate maintenance as needed
• Communicate with all staff & residents
• Performing general office duties
• Assisting the Manager in the day to day running of the Student Complex
• Assisting with the turnaround of apartments when vacated by Residents

Skills:

• Strong computer skills with particular emphasis on Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
• Good communication skills and pleasant manner when speaking on the phone, writing emails and dealing with people in person
• Good organisational skills in terms of time management and multi-tasking
• Good attention to detail in completing work tasks accurately
• Ability to take and follow instructions
• Dependable, responsible, honest with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Desire to learn new skills and take on more responsibilities
• Second/third language would be useful but not essential
• Knowledge of working in a team environment but also capable of working on your own.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Leaving Certificate
• Strong computer skills essential

Hours/Pay:

• 3 full days a week (generally every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
• 9am to 6pm
• €15 per hour
