This role supports patients throughout their visit by handling registration, insurance verification, scheduling, payment collection, and check-out procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a busy healthcare environment. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to putting patients first. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Collect copays, deductibles, outstanding balances, and other patient payments Schedule follow-up appointments accurately and efficiently Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and requests Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and other departments Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience Requirements Required High School Diploma or GED Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude Preferred Customer service experience in a healthcare or medical office setting Experience with insurance verification, patient registration, scheduling, or payment collection We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong customer service mindset and a desire to learn.
