Description

We are seeking a front desk receptionist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and play an essential role in ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced medical environment. Hours range from 30-40 per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors with a professional and caring attitude.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Register new patients and update medical records.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, email and patient correspondence.
  • Collect and handle payments according to office procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Provide administrative support to medical staff, including preparing forms and documents.
  • Ensure and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both patients and medical staff.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
