Description Description We are a small physicians' office with 4 providers. We have a beautiful new office that looks over the Indian River Lagoon. We are looking for someone who is going to fit in well and stay for a long time. Job Responsibilities Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the practice or calling in on the phone Greet people entering the building, answer questions, provide directions Ensure that patient intake forms are completed and updated in our electronic medical record - health insurance records, verifications, consents, identification (IDs), etc Address referral requests the same day they are received. Manage the clinical schedule by making, canceling and rescheduling appointments Answer a multiple line phone system, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages and delivering them within our message system. Work to minimize phone calls going to voicemail - ideally there should be no need for voicemails during business hours. Work the Self pay worklists in Athena once per week to try and clear those. Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter Qualifications High school diploma or GED Computer proficiency Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Automatic employer paid 3% 401K contribution Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Mon-Thur Half-day Friday!
