SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
· Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist or similar role
· Presentable - always wear make-up, tidy hair and wear proper uniform
· Ability to multitask and work under pressure
· Good knowledge of hair, nail care and beauty products.
· Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems
· Familiarity with processing transactions
· Excellent communication skills(verbal, phone and email)
· Ability to respond to a complaint or resolve issues with clients in a reputable manner.
· Friendly, personable, good customer service and a positive attitude towards clients
· Committed to professionalism and cooperation
· Solid organization and record-keeping skills
· English & Russian speaker preferred.
YOUR ROLE
Warmly greeting clients, walking them to the proper beauty station and alerting assigned beauticians of their arrival
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Warmly greet clients, walk them to the proper beauty station and inform assigned beautician of their arrival
· Making sure the smooth operation of the reception
· Book and confirm appointments via phone and email
· Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts. End day settlement of CC transactions.
· Strictly follows rules of the management and act as the model for all of the employees.
· Offer beverages and chat with clients who are in the waiting area
· Deal with customer complaints in calm and respectful manner.
· Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability
· Inform clients about new services and discounts
· Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards)
· Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered
· Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
· Order business cards, brochures and stationery as needed
· Create daily sales reports at the end of the operation and report together with the daily expenses.
· Respond to and take appropriate actions and Report to managers relating to safety and damages.
· Responsible for Maintaining the cleanliness and stocks of the mini bar for salon guests/clients.
· Keep track of complaints /suggestions of clients
· Make sure lighting and other devices are prepared before the day and to be switched off at the end of the day.
· Morning shift reception must be at least 30 minutes early to avoid complaints from early booking clients. Closing reception should check before the closing time not unless no more appointments/clients around the salon, they can do so 15 minutes before the closing.
