OVERVIEW

Highlands Nordic is looking for a part time, seasonal worker to be part of our hard working staff team in the rental/service area or Front Desk. This individual will be working with the general public in our rental department, to fit Nordic ski boots and skis and appropriately size equipment (training provided! As well as other staff to assist). The job will include some time working at the cash desk as needed to process trail and rental fees, as well as clothing, ski equipment and accessories. As part of the Highlands staff team the individual will also be asked to assist with some facility related duties.)
Weekend work required. This position is seasonal part time (up to 20 hours per week), beginning December 13, 2025 and ending March 22, 2026, depending on snow.
Staff discounts to the store as well as a Highlands Nordic Season’s Pass for cross country skiing.

• Work with general public in rental department. Basic knowledge of cross country skiing equipment and terminology an asset
• Work front desk cash
• Fill in on facility tasks as required (bathroom checks, garbage checks, snow shovelling etc)
• Other duties as assigned
• Training will be provided
