Description The Sheraton Hotel of Eatontown is seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Front Desk Representative to join our award-winning team. Requirements Responsibilities include: · Greet, check in, and assign rooms to guests in a friendly but efficient manner · Answer all guests’ questions, confirm reservations, and redirect phone calls to appropriate department when necessary · Monitor and update records of room availability and guests' accounts · Review accounts and charges with guests during the checkout process · Compute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests accurately · Record guest comments or complaints, referring guests to managers as necessary · Attend monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessary Compensation and Benefits include: · This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. · Part time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's retirement plans (once qualified). · Full time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's health, dental, vision, and retirement plans (once qualified). Job Qualifications & Skills · Superb written and verbal communication skills · Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities · Judgment and decision making · Strong knowledge of MS office programs · Experience with property management systems is a plus · Mathematics and reading comprehension · Strong attention to detail · Ability to stand for long periods of time · Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
