Mountain Fitness Center opened in 2015 with the goal of making fitness an important and enjoyable part of people’s routines. As Squamish locals, we know the value of community and are proud to support and bring people together through fitness.
We are currently seeking reliable, upbeat and motivated individuals to join our team. We currently have set shifts available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4pm-8pm (8 hours per week). Flexibility to cover a variety of additional shifts as needed is considered a strong asset.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Customer service driven with an enthusiastic attitude
  • Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and promoting client loyalty
  • Have a positive attitude and outstanding, adaptive communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of cash transaction processing procedures
  • Passionate about physical fitness and health
  • Comfortable lifting up to 60lbs when required

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all members and guests are following gym protocols
  • Greet members and guests enthusiastically to encourage a positive culture at the gym
  • Promptly ensure that customer inquiries are resolved professionally and thoroughly via telephone, e-mail and in person encounters
  • Monitor member check-ins to identify delinquent accounts
  • Process point of sale items, such as retail and concession sales
  • Check in all members and guests using the proper registration procedures
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the gym to necessary standards
