Do you have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment? Geelong Ninjas is seeking a dedicated and proactive Casual Reception / Front Desk Specialist to be the heart of our gym.
This is a crucial role for someone who is not just an administrator but a knowledgeable point of contact who takes ownership of their work and contributes to a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
This casual position starts at approximately 10-15 hours per week, with the potential to increase for the right candidate. Availability for weekday afternoons / evenings and weekends is essential.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Front Desk Specialist, you’ll be the first face our members and visitors see.
You will manage daily operations at the front desk, ensuring a smooth and organised environment. From greeting guests with a friendly smile to handling payments and answering detailed inquiries about our programs, your role is key to our success.
You’ll be a trusted resource, providing support and information, and ensuring that every interaction is positive and professional.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet all visitors and members with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanour.
  • Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, processing payments, and handling member inquiries.
  • Provide comprehensive information about our programs, pricing, and services.
  • Take ownership of administrative tasks, such as managing party and event bookings, updating our member management system, and assisting with stock and inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area, contributing to the overall housekeeping standards of the gym.
  • Assist with creating and updating signage and promotional materials using Canva.
  • Administer basic First Aid and complete incident reports as needed.
