JOB DESCRIPTION

The Front Desk Supervisor should have a thorough knowledge of front office functions and possess the ability to supervise and monitor service levels and administrative functions while possessing a positive attitude to lead associates by example. The supervisor also assists in the training of new employees overseeing their training process and providing feedback on their performance. It is also necessary for the supervisor to hold a good rapport with all other departments in order to assist in any problems that may occur. The supervisor also coordinates hiring and training of new employees, overseeing their training progress and providing feedback on their performance.
Duties include but are not limited to providing excellent customer service by resolving issues, addressing inquiries and anticipating our owners and guests expectations with a positive and friendly attitude; building cohesion among the Front Desk team and inspire them to reach their greatest potential together; creating weekly staffing schedules, working closely with the Reservations department and manage special booking requirements, ensuring all Front Desk operational procedures are accomplished and followed up and that policies are maintained.
The applicant must be able to work Thursday to Monday evenings (2:30pm-11:00pm) weekends and on statutory holidays.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The Front Desk Supervisor must possess the following knowledge and skills:
· Experience as a front desk supervisor.
· Familiarity with online booking systems.
· Proficient in English (oral and written).
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Outlook, Excel and Word)
· Strong communication and people skills.
· Good organizational, multi-tasking abilities and problem-solving skills.
· Customer service orientation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
