Overview:
My client is a stealth mode start-up, with an exceptionally strong new product (built and tested) in the AI Chatbot space. To facilitate the next stage of growth, we’re looking are looking for a talented and experienced Front-End Developer with a strong focus on designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for AI-driven chatbot applications. This role will primarily involve creating exceptional desktop UI/UX experiences, with plans to extend functionality to mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python GUI libraries and a passion for delivering user-centric, interactive designs.
Key Responsibilities:

1. UI/UX Design and Development:

• Design and implement responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces for AI chatbot applications, tailored for desktop environments.
• Collaborate with Product Managers/AI Devs to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Prototype and iterate designs based on usability testing and user feedback.

1. Chatbot-Specific Interface Design:

• Develop user-centric chatbot interfaces that enhance interactivity and accessibility.
• Ensure seamless integration of chatbot UI with Back-End AI systems and conversational flows.

1. Roadmap for Mobile Devices:

• Plan and design scalable interfaces that transition smoothly from desktop to mobile platforms.
• Optimize UI components for various screen sizes and touch interactions.

1. Integration with Python Libraries:

• Utilize Python GUI libraries (e.g., PyQt, Tkinter, Kivy, or custom frameworks) to create dynamic, visually appealing interfaces.
• Implement customizations that present AI outputs in a user-friendly and engaging manner.

1. Collaboration and Documentation:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Back-End Devs and AI engineers.
• Document UI/UX design processes, technical implementations, and best practices.

Qualifications Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with UI/UX design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Expertise in Python GUI libraries: PyQt, Tkinter, Kivy, or similar.
• Familiarity with chatbot frameworks and conversational design principles.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-platform optimization.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of front-end development experience with a focus on UI/UX for applications.
• Demonstrable experience designing interfaces for AI-driven chatbots or similar interactive systems.
• Prior experience launching applications from desktop to mobile platforms is a plus. Soft(er)
