As a Front-end Development Lead, you will report to the Senior Software Development Lead and take a leadership role in designing and building scalable, cloud-native solutions for the oil and gas industry. In this position, you will manage a team of developers, mentoring and guiding them in their technical and professional growth. You’ll leverage modern technologies in cloud, AI, and IoT to tackle complex challenges and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
In addition to your technical contributions, you’ll be expected to shape the team culture, drive collaboration, and ensure your team is aligned with broader company goals. You’ll have the opportunity to foster a high-performance engineering environment where team members thrive and contribute to delivering impactful solutions for our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in taking a feature from concept to delivery and support.
• Working knowledge of Javascript/NodeJS, React and Python.
• Working knowledge of React frameworks like NextJS and the concept of server side rendering.
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with non-relational data stores such as MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Experience with SQL based database systems such as SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.
• Experience with cloud computing, specifically AWS.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Experience addressing challenges and driving team success through mentorship, guidance, and a focus on delivering impactful solutions.
• Proven ability to lead and guide teams through complex projects, from initial concept to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• BS/MS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance application software for our cloud-native platform, aligning with business goals.
• Drive the evolution of front-end services, and APIs, taking ownership of architecture and technical decisions to enhance functionality and customer impact.
• Work independently and collaboratively to deliver impactful features, ensuring high-quality delivery while managing team dynamics and timelines.
• Build and lead end-to-end features across cloud, web, and mobile infrastructure, ensuring smooth integration and cohesive technical direction.
• Leverage open-source technologies and advocate for open standards, balancing innovation with long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Product, DevOps) to align technical direction, prioritize features, and refine customer solutions.
