Description Department: Front End Reports To: Store Manager Location: All City Market Locations Division/Status: Exempt, Management/All Leadership Team Summary City Market Co-Op is seeking a Front End Manager to oversee Front End operations and ensure the highest standard of prompt, friendly, and efficient customer service to the City Market customer. As a member of the Management team, you will be a driving force in fostering a safe and welcoming environment to our staff, vendors, customers, and community. Day-to-Day Duties Oversee all Front End operations, including staffing, setting/meeting goals, department budgeting and ensuring accurate cash handling and cash control to meet or exceed department financial objectives. Supervise employees, hire, coach, follow established personnel policies and utilize appropriate recognition, training, development, as well as corrective action practices with all Front End employees. Work with Facilities and IT departments to ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all technological and mechanical systems in the Front End. Ensure compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of five years management experience including but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and developing staff. Minimum of five years experience developing & implementing budgets and adhering to labor cost requirements Experience managing employees required, solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, and public speaking and presentation skills essential.
