International Dyslexia Learning Solutions (IDLS) is part of the wider Ascentis Group providing specialist multi-sensory software programmes to primary and secondary schools in the UK and internationally. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FRONT-END, USER EXPERIENCE ENGINEER SPECIALISING IN UI / UX. THIS IS A KEY ROLE IN WHICH YOU WILL PROVIDE THE LINK BETWEEN OUR DESIGN AND ENGINEERING TEAMS.

As an engineer you will support the development of front ends within our single page applications. As a designer you will develop prototypes, wireframes and design mock-ups.
You will work as part of a team tasked with the development of new software products for the education market. Coupled with developing new products, you will also be expected to support and maintain existing products.
This role offers a successful candidate the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking, and fast-changing company with software that could make a real difference to people with learning difficulties such as dyslexia or dyscalculia.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To develop new software products.
• To support and maintain existing products.
• To contribute to the design and functionality of the software, testing and supporting new features.
