iCandy Design is looking to recruit a talented Front End Web Developer as part of our onsite, in-house team of Designers & Developers creating bespoke high quality websites and SaaS solutions across a broad, industry diverse client base. You must have a keen eye for detail and strive to deliver pixel-perfect code from supplied designs.
To succeed you must have a passion for web development along with a can-do attitude; embracing the latest trends and technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a web developer, with a portfolio showcasing past projects.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience with back-end development using the Laravel PHP framework.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with other front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Vue.js, Alpine.js, Livewire).
  • Knowledge of server administration and deployment tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
  • Experience of PHP/MySQL
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain custom features and functionality for websites and web applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (TALL stack).
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
  • Optimise websites and applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure compatibility and reliability across various browsers and devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development.
