Responsibilities:
The Front-End UI Developer will craft exceptional user interfaces and implement modern, responsive web applications. This role focuses on translating design concepts into high-quality, performant code while ensuring an outstanding user experience across all devices. Working closely with UX designers and back-end developers, you’ll build scalable and maintainable front-end architectures using modern frameworks and best practices.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using Angular and modern CSS frameworks
  • Implement pixel-perfect UI components based on design specifications and prototypes
  • Write clean, maintainable code following front-end best practices and coding standards
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless implementation of user interface designs
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and handle state management in complex applications
  • Perform cross-browser testing and debugging
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
  • Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and trends

SKILLS

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with ITS staff, other credit union personnel and members
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Intermediate critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Strong experience with React and component-based architecture
  • Experience with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Styled Components, or similar)
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Knowledge of front-end build tools and version control (Git)
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design tools like Figma
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Proficiency in Figma designs strongly preferred
