FRONT LINE SERVER

Seasonal Position – August 1 to October 19
Location: Train Yard – Sault Ste. Marie, ON & Onboard Agawa Train Cars
Compensation: $215/day (with one unpaid 1-hour lunch break)
Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front Line Servers to join our seasonal train service team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate POS system, serve guests
· Maintain station stock
· Communicate with supervisors for stock, POS, WiFi, and concerns
· Deliver great service onboard and at the station
· Setup and breakdown of station
· Count float and cash daily
· Other duties as assigned
Safety Gear:
· Before boarding: boots, hi-vis vest, hard hat, safety glasses
· Onboard: safety boots only
Work Schedule:
Season Dates: August 1 – October 19
Rotation: 4 days on / 3 days off, alternating with 3 days on / 4 days off
Operating Days:
· August 1–28: 4 days/week
· August 29–October 19: 7 days/week
Job Location:
· Based at the Train Yard in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
· Work is performed onboard train cars during operational shifts
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
· On your feet and in motion throughout shift
· Frequent bending, crouching, and reaching overhead
Qualifications:
· Smart Serve Certification (required)
· Customer service experience preferred
Additional Opportunity:
Eligible for winter season employment at Searchmont Resort following the end of this contract.
