As part of this mission, we’ve launched a new accelerator in partnership with the Ministry of Defence’s Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) and key stakeholders. This programme supports the UK’s leadership role within NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), driving forward innovation in defence and security technologies.
The Role:
We are seeking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Front of House & Operations Intern with a proactive, can-do attitude to support the delivery of this high-impact programme from our White City office. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in office operations, event logistics, and programme delivery within a fast-paced, innovation-led environment.
As the first point of contact for staff and visitors, you will help create a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience. Beyond this, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day office operations, contributing with the support of key operational tasks , maintaining a well-organised workspace, and assisting in the coordination of internal meetings, workshops, and events. You’ll also support the wider team with administrative tasks and help uphold a collaborative and high-performance working culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to both the operations and accelerator teams, contributing to the smooth delivery of day-to-day activities.
  • Greet and assist visitors upon arrival, managing sign-in processes and ensuring seamless access to the building.
  • Support the setup of refreshments, seating arrangements, and signage for workshops, guest visits, and community events to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the office, ensuring that all facilities, including utilities and office equipment, are functioning properly
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare spaces with any necessary materials or technical equipment in advance.
  • Monitor office supplies and inventory, ensuring that the office remains well-stocked and that reordering is carried out when necessary.
  • Assist in the organisation, planning and delivering logistics for internal meetings, workshops, and wider community events.
  • Oversee the daily use and upkeep of key operational tools and platforms
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office.

  • Previous customer service or front-desk experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to commit to a full-time internship based at our White City office.
  • Given the sensitivity of some of our work, you will be required to undergo a BPSS check.
