Shotton Grange and The Parlour at Blagdon are both extremely busy wedding venues available with exclusive use for the entire day, located on the Blagdon Estate in Northumberland but only 10 minutes drive north of Newcastle.
We are currently looking for a Front of House Wedding and Events Assistant Manager to run the operations across both venues, delivering an amazing customer experience to our couples. You will have good attention to detail and an organised approach, whilst helping to maintain high standards of customer service. You will be involved in all aspects of the wedding day, from serving breakfast in the morning, organising the ceremony and wedding breakfast, to managing the bar team and DJ during the evening party. Shifts are flexible but evening and weekend work is essential.

Key Job roles;

  • Communicating with all departments including the front of house team, kitchen and sales office with the main focus on weddings and events at The Parlour.
  • Executing all events to the highest standard, including acting as a Master of Ceremonies.
  • Looking after the upkeep and cleanliness of the venue, liaising with the housekeeping and maintenance teams where necessary.
  • Delivering service and bar training to the front of house teams, constantly coaching individuals to maximise team performance.
