JOB SUMMARY:

The Front of House Associate is a key role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests. This position involves greeting and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling.
  • Smart Serve Certification (required).
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in a restaurant setting.
    This position requires a customer-focused attitude, teamwork, and the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Provide menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
  • Complete bar tending tasks as necessary
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service, addressing any guest concerns.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Assist in opening and closing tasks, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, bar, and service stations.
  • Monitor and restock front-of-house supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to meet guest needs.
  • Support team members during peak hours to maintain efficiency.
  • Operate the POS system to process orders and payments accurately.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and receipts in a secure manner.
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of sales at the end of the shift.
  • Inform guests about promotions, specials, and upcoming events.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Assist with social media promotions or loyalty programs when needed.
