We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to join us as a Front of House Cleaner and be a part of the SCHLOSS Roxburghe Housekeeping team!
This is a permanent, part-time position, working 30 hours per week, you must be available to work weekends.
We offer a competitive salary of £12.50 per hour plus gratuities* and excellent employee benefits.
*Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid.
As a SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel Housekeeper you will be responsible for cleaning of the guest rooms and bathrooms according to the hotel’s luxury standards and maintaining the hotel’s public areas.

PROVEN EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in English
  • All applicants must have right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
  • To will consistently ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned, prepared and presented to the luxury standards set out by SCHLOSS Roxburghe to ensure the best quality for our guests
  • You will ensure that the furniture, equipment and appliances are in clean and flawless condition, well maintained
  • You will interact with all guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner, looking to exceed their expectations
  • You will bring your experience to identify and contribute innovative and practical ways to improve the overall quality and process within the department
  • To report any faults or broken items to Housekeeping management
  • You will ensure that all compliance, COSHH, and Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • Ensure that all procedures concerning guest safety are followed including but not limited to; lost property, key control and confidentiality
  • You will take pride in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all guest areas
  • You will service bathrooms and guest bedrooms ensuring to use the correct equipment, cleaning materials and guidelines
  • You will assist the Housekeeping Management
