At Edinburgh Academy Senior School, we want our pupils to be happy, confident, and prepared to succeed in life. In partnership with Sodexo, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Front of House Catering & Hospitality Supervisor to help us deliver service that matches our high standards and ethos.
This is a senior, hands-on position—ideal for someone with a proven record in premium hospitality or catering environments and a natural ability to lead teams in fast-paced, customer-focused settings.

THE ROLE

You’ll be the face of our hospitality service, leading the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional experience for pupils, staff, and guests—whether during a busy weekday breakfast or a high-profile school event.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and manage hospitality events from start to finish
• Supervise all front-of-house activity, ensuring consistent service excellence
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of front-line staff
• Oversee breakfast service daily, ensuring smooth operation and presentation
• Act as Allergen Champion, ensuring safe, clear communication at mealtimes
• Liaise with kitchen and management teams to deliver routine and bespoke events
• Keep all menus, signage, and marketing materials accurate and up to date
• Manage stock and place orders via the Head Chef
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming dining environment
• Support with event set-up, décor, layout, and staffing
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff compliance records
• Provide hands-on service during busy periods and special occasions
