JOB DESCRIPTION

Reconcile New Orleans, Inc. (RNO), also known as Café Reconcile, has been a cornerstone of the community since 2000. We combine delicious New Orleans cuisine with a mission-driven purpose: empowering young people ages 16–24 through job training, skill development, and career exploration. Our innovative programs help interns develop their strengths, overcome challenges, and pursue their career goals.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Reconcile depends on enthusiastic team members to help advance our mission. By joining us, you will play a vital role in preparing the next generation for success and making a meaningful impact on the lives of young people and the broader New Orleans community.
PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE: The Front of the House (FOH) Manager directs the daily operations of Café Reconcile’s dining room, fostering a warm, welcoming, and efficient environment for guests and program participants. This role supervises the FOH Trainer Advocate team, coordinates front-of-house service with back-of-house operations, and ensures high standards of hospitality, service, and a mission-centered training environment.
This position reports to the Chief Culinary Officer. It is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with participation in weekend and after-hours events as required.

RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum 5 years of hospitality leadership experience, preferably in FOH management.
· Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, guest service, and training.
· Proven ability to lead and mentor diverse teams, fostering growth and accountability.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
· Patient, mature, and able to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
· Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with competing priorities.
· Willingness to build meaningful, respectful relationships with young adults ages 16-24
· Pre-employment background check required
