Description

Thrive is seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee and elevate the dining experience for our residents and guests. This full-time, salaried position is responsible for managing the daily operations of our dining room, Convivium Starbucks Coffee Shop, and bar. The ideal candidate is a passionate leader who thrives in a hospitality-focused environment and is committed to creating memorable, high-quality dining experiences.
Schedule: Full-time, typically 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Days Off: Sunday and Monday


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing frontofhouse (FOH) operations in food & beverage or hospitality
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coach team members to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
  • Skilled in training, onboarding, and performance management of FOH staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality required
  • Culinary knowledge or experience is a plus!

Responsibilities
  • Lead daytoday operations of the dining room, coffee shop, and bar, ensuring outstanding service and guest satisfaction
  • Develop and implement staffing plans, service standards, and training programs for FOH team members
  • Supervise and coach staff during service hours to support smooth operations and a positive guest experience
  • Monitor and continuously improve service quality, addressing and resolving resident feedback and concerns
  • Manage employee schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage and compliance with quality standards
  • Monitor, Review and Approve employee timesheets for payroll purposes
  • Create and maintain detailed operational checklists for all FOH roles
  • Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new dining team members
  • Champion a culture of cleanliness, safety, and food safety compliance in all dining areas
  • Enforce appearance and hygiene standards in line with community expectations
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership to evaluate food and beverage offerings, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Serve as a key liaison between dining staff, culinary team, and community leadership to maintain seamless communication and service
