Front of House Manager for busy Gastro Bar & Guesthouse in Glencar Co.Kerry

REQUIREMENTS

· 2+ years working in a busy kitchen environment.
· HACCP qualification not required but an asset.
· Fluent English required.

· 8 to 10 hour shifts and no split shifts. (describe the shifts, like 3-9, or 12 – 8pm etc)
· 2 consecutive days off a week and min 1 weekend off a month.

• Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations.
• Creating new dishes and menus including pricing.
• Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget.
• Liaising with the relevant companies for food orders.
• Controlling stock levels & ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
• Ensuring all HACCP procedures are followed and documented.
  · To ensure cleanliness of the kitchen is in line with Food Hygiene Regulations and to ensure that food preparation and production are carried out to the highest standard.
