Growing@ field28 are a family owned business which incorporates a small six acre farm growing fresh produce and seasonal cut flowers , an onsite bakery and also a farm shop and deli/ cafe. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for food and beverage service. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in supervising roles within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and staff professionally.
  • Experience in food production processes, kitchen operations, or barista duties is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.   • Organise and oversee regular events including supper clubs and seasonal hospitality events.
  • Oversee the farm shop and deli activities.

  • Coordinate food preparation and service, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain inventory levels for front of house supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
  • Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
  • Assist in the development of new menu items or promotions in collaboration with culinary staff.
