JOB SUMMARY:

The FOH Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, managing staff, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is service-oriented, and has a keen eye for detail. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The FOH Manager will work both in a managerial capacity and as a server/bartender during shifts, making them eligible to receive tips in addition to their base salary.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 3 years of FOH management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on bartending experience with a solid understanding of beverage service.
  • Ability to take initiative and implement innovative service improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Service-minded with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with solid administrative and operational skills.
  • Experience managing and ordering FOH inventory.
  • Proficiency in scheduling, POS systems, and restaurant management software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Toast POS and Marketman inventory management system is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and supervise the FOH team to maintain a high level of service.
  • Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day FOH operations, including opening and closing duties.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards, handling guest inquiries and resolving complaints efficiently.
  • Work shifts in both a management and server/bartender role, providing hands-on service.
  • Oversee bar operations, ensuring high-quality beverages and bartending standards.
  • Manage, monitor, order FOH inventory, including beverages, glassware, and service supplies.
  • Implement innovative ideas to enhance service, guest experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and performance evaluations for FOH staff.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including reporting, budgeting, and documentation.
