Aston Marina is home to a multi-award-winning restaurant, a vibrant bar, a stunning waterside wedding venue (The Boat House), and a modern corporate events space. We’re looking for an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Front of House Manager to lead service across all venues on site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations across the restaurant, bar, weddings, and events spaces, ensuring a consistent and outstanding guest experience.
- Lead, support, and motivate front-of-house teams including assistant managers, ensuring high performance and service standards at all times.
- Manage operations in the absence of the Head of Front of House.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff training to develop a knowledgeable and confident team.
- Handle daily open and close procedures and complete end-of-day cashing up accurately.
- Maintain excellent communication between FOH, kitchen teams, and senior management to ensure smooth service and event execution.
- Handle guest enquiries, bookings, and special requests efficiently using EPOS and booking systems.
- Deliver confident service with detailed knowledge of fresh food menus, bar drinks (including cocktails, wines, ales, and coffee), and seasonal offerings.
- Proactively manage guest feedback and resolve any issues with professionalism and positivity.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene standards, and compliance with EHO and food safety regulations.
- Complete regular audits and act swiftly to address any areas for improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong, experienced leader with a background in restaurant, bar, or event venue management.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service, including cocktails, wines, beers, and barista coffee.
- Proven ability to work under pressure in a busy, high-quality hospitality environment.
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills with a customer-first approach.
- Tech-savvy with confidence using EPOS systems, online booking tools, and email communications.
- A positive, hands-on manager who leads by example and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
