JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. The Front of House Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of service and efficiency within the restaurant.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in food service management, including fine dining or casual dining environments.
  • Knowledge of food production processes, catering services, and banquet experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with staff training & development practices and shift management techniques.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Culinary experience or kitchen management background is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Train, develop, and manage front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial management to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the hiring process.
