Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the dining experience for our guests.
We are a fast-paced restaurant, bar and lounge, catering to a wide demographic in a unique and attractive rooftop terrace in the heart of Canterbury. The company is expanding its sites - we are looking for a strong and trustworthy front of house staff with a positive attitude and willingness to learn!

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials
- Ensure timely delivery of orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain a positive attitude and create a positive environment for our guests
- Encourage them to explore the menu & try new things
- Provide excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness and great appearance
- Work in a fast-paced restaurant, serving hundreds of guests every day
- Ensure the restaurant is always welcoming & inviting to our guests by maintaining your section to the highest standard
- Follow the health & safety procedures
- Look presentable for the guests
- Report to the supervisors and management team
- Work well with the rest of the team, get support during your training and provide support to others once you are confident in your role
Skills:
- Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in time management to prioritise tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
