A day in the life:

  • Work as a team throughout the business to achieve the company’s goals
  • Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness
  • Be welcoming to customers - interact, say ‘hello’, just as important, say ‘thank you’ and ‘goodbye’. Above all else, smile!
  • Be aware of, and knowledgeable about, all promotions, events and new products introduced, seeking support, if required
  • Respond to any customer feedback in a positive and helpful manner, seeking support, if required. Feed back all complaints to the management team.
  • Take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness by adopting a ‘clean as you go’ philosophy (including, but not limited to, staff areas, external areas, toilets, bar and glass wash, customer areas.)
  • Carry out any reasonable task as requested by the management team to meet the needs of the business
  • Keep the external areas pristine at all times. This includes prompt table turnover, clearing of ash trays, repositioning of furniture and sweeping of the floor
  • Stick to the section of the floor you have been assigned by the shift runner. Keep the tables cleared and wiped, furniture rearranged and floor swept. The aim it to have prompt table turnover. Please also ensure each table has a menu on, checking the quality of the menus and replacing if necessary
  • Have clearing stations set up in relevant locations across the site. Ensure any litter is swept up around the stations
  • Keep kitchens topped up with cutlery and napkins at all times, visually checking to make sure it’s clean

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

  • Be able to converse in English and to understand the language to complete training and other duties associated with your job role
  • Have a fixed place of residence within reasonable travelling distance of your place of work.
