We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated Floor Staff to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of guest services, food preparation, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service and helping others.
  • Basic culinary skills or knowledge would be beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest services by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
  • Assist in food preparation while adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
  • Support the kitchen staff in food preparation tasks as needed, demonstrating a basic understanding of culinary techniques.
  • Engage with guests to promote menu items through effective upselling techniques.
  • Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths for billing purposes.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
