Manor Wildlife Park is a renowned zoo and wildlife conservation centre located near Tenby. We are dedicated to the preservation, education, and enjoyment of the world’s diverse animal species. Our goal is to inspire our visitors to learn more about the natural world and engage with wildlife conservation efforts.
We are currently seeking friendly and enthusiastic Guest Services Agents to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable experience at the zoo. The Guest Services Agents are the face of Manor Wildlife Park, and their primary focus is to create a positive guest experience while promoting the zoo’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Welcome guests upon arrival, providing information about the zoo’s facilities attractions and daily activities.
  • Operate ticketing and entry systems, accurately processing admissions, memberships, and group bookings.
  • Provide assistance to guests with special needs or accessibility requirements.
  • Handle visitor enquiries, providing accurate information and direction as needed.
  • Assist in the operation of the zoo’s retail and food service outlets, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient transactions
  • Participate in daily cash handling procedures, including accurate cash counting, balancing, and reporting.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the guest services area, ensuring all signage, literature, and promotional materials are up-to-date and well-stocked.
  • Act as an ambassador for the zoo, promoting its conservation efforts, educational programs, and upcoming events.
  • Assist with the implementation of special events, promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Adhere to all zoo policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of both guests and animals.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeaner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Preferred previous experience in a customer-facing role, in a leisure, tourism, or retail setting.
  • Basic computer skills, with experience in operating point-of-sale systems preferred.
  • Cash handling experience is an asset.
  • A strong interest in wildlife conservation and education.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as required.
  • Completion of a background check may be required.

Job Type: Part-time
Contract length: 1 -6 months
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
