JOB DESCRIPTION: FRONT OF HOUSE SUPERVISOR

Catch 79 Seafood Bistro is a small restaurant in the coastal town of Lossiemouth. We serve fresh, locally sourced food, cooked from scratch, and prepared to order. We pride ourselves in a very high standard front of house as well as in the kitchen.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as a restaurant team leader or similar supervisory role.
  • Friendly and welcoming personality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Winter (Oct-May) Thursday to Sunday

  • Summer (May-Oct) Wednesday to Sunday

  • Over 21 only

We offer a friendly, encouraging work environment and above minimum wage pay.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day open and closing operations of the restaurant, including customer service, staff management, and cleanliness of front of house.
- Ensure that customer orders are accurately processed and delivered in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.

  • Process orders through EPOS system, ensuring accuracy and payment handling is correct with cash, card or vouchers.

  • General front of house duties: Greet and welcome customers, taking orders, making and serving drinks, serving food, clearing plates, etc

  • Ensure all customers are given first class service
  • General housekeeping
