Position: Year-round, non-exempt Hours: 40+ weekly hours Job Summary: The Front of House (FOH) Supervisor is responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences for Rock Creek Cattle Company Members and guests by ensuring a welcoming, professional, and service-driven environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to courteous, attentive service. FOH Supervisors work closely with Management and the Food & Beverage (F&B) team to support daily operations, maintain service standards, and promptly address guest needs or concerns. Responsibilities may shift based on operational demands, and flexibility, teamwork, and professionalism are essential to success in this role. Duties/Responsibilities: Foster an environment that consistently exceeds Member expectations and enhances overall guest satisfaction. Respond promptly and professionally to Member feedback, resolving concerns at the point of service when possible and communicating issues to the Food & Beverage Director as appropriate. Follow and enforce Company policies and internal control procedures to safeguard all Company assets, including Member charges, cash handling, equipment, and inventory. Ensure compliance with all applicable Montana state laws and Company policies related to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. Monitor quality standards during service and make real-time adjustments as needed to remain aligned with labor, food, and beverage cost goals. Assist with scheduling oversight, including monitoring shift exchanges and ensuring adequate staffing levels. Coordinate with Management to maintain department operations at a high level of productivity, efficiency, and cost control. Attend and actively participate in required training sessions and Manager meetings. Assist with menu development, including food menus, nightly features, beer, wine, spirits, and specialty beverage offerings. Assist in the development and maintenance of service standards, training materials, and product knowledge resources for food and beverage offerings. Order beer, wine, spirits, and other products as assigned using approved par levels to ensure availability while meeting financial objectives. Collect, review, and log Server and Bartender closing checkouts to ensure accuracy and compliance with Company procedures. Ensure doors are secured and equipment, lights, and systems are shut down properly at the conclusion of service. Support and execute off-site events, including private residences and special venues, while maintaining Company service standards and professionalism. Obtain and maintain all required alcohol service certifications within established timeframes. Promote a safe working environment and promptly complete required documentation for any Member or Employee accidents or injuries. Report employee-related concerns, injuries, accidents, or high-risk issues promptly to the Food & Beverage Director. Ensure accurate payroll records through proper use of timekeeping and POS systems. Monitor personal work hours and notify Management when approaching overtime thresholds. Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and Company operations. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work flexible and variable schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately. Ability to represent Rock Creek Cattle Company in a professional and positive manner at all times. Ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) and background check as a condition of employment in this role. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior food and beverage or hospitality supervisory experience preferred. Must obtain and maintain any certifications or permits required by local and/or state regulatory agencies. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking, potentially up to five (5) miles per day. Frequent use of hands, fingers, and wrists for service-related tasks. Repetitive motions including lifting, polishing, stirring, and carrying items. Ability to climb and descend stairs multiple times per shift. Regular physical movement including bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, and carrying. Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds as needed. Ability to maintain balance and coordination while carrying trays, glassware, or supplies. Ability to see details at close range and hear and communicate effectively in moderate to high-noise environments. Work Environment: This position operates in a fast-paced food and beverage environment with moderate to high noise levels. FOH Supervisors may occasionally be required to work in private residences or off-site venues.
