Competitive wages What We Are Hiring As a Service Co-ordinator, you will help create a welcoming and quality experience for our guests. You will be assisting in the supervision of 15-20 crew members and running the restaurant in the absence of management personnel while upholding Denny's service and quality standards. You will be reporting to the General Manager. Our goal is to provide total guest satisfaction. Our team is made up of committed, caring, and energetic individuals who make every Denny's location the great and diverse place it is. What You'll Do You will supervise shifts by leading other hourly employees to adhere to Denny's brand standards You will coordinate restaurant activities by observing the guest flow You will monitor sales, employee hours, and guest counts throughout the shift to ensure proper staffing You will complete shift walkthroughs and take corrective actions when needed You will communicate employee relations issues, deviations from brand standards, and other guest issues to the attention of an exempt manager You will help Denny's achieve our mission by adhering to Denny's Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures You will perform other duties as required or assigned Who You Are You have a high school diploma or GED certificate, as well as a Management Food Safety Certification You have completed all e-learning job code modules You consistently display the Guiding Principles You are an effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing You are a team player, collaborative and attentive You have excellent guest service and people skills You are self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively You can lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs You can stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift You must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit) Proud to be 100% Canadian-owned, Northland Properties' are recognized as one of the most trusted names in hotels, restaurants, resorts, sports, construction, and asset management.
