Milk & Honey Coffee Shop is seeking a passionate team player to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the hospitality industry and have a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to creating a memorable experience for our customers. Day-to-day operations of the coffee shop are important, you will ensure of efficient service while helping to drive growth and innovation. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for supervising staff, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service.
This is starting as a part time role. It could become more but doesn’t need to be. If you are restricted to the hours you work please don’t be put off thinking the role will automatically turn into a full time position. It can in time if you want it to, but doesn’t need to.
You must have a thorough understanding of food safety and environmental health regulations.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as necessary.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in restaurants or hotels.
  • Strong background in food production and culinary practices is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
