At Sodexo, we’re passionate about our people—because they’re the heart of everything we do. Our teams deliver exceptional service and create experiences that truly make a difference for our clients, customers, and colleagues. While you focus on enhancing comfort and convenience, we’ll focus on growing your career.
Join us as a Front of House Supervisor ( Moorgate, EC2R 6DA) and be the welcoming face of our vibrant corporate site. You’ll shape outstanding guest experiences, keep workplace operations running flawlessly, and be part of a team where your energy and passion really matter. This isn’t just a job—it’s a role where you’ll thrive and love what you do every day.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise and support the reception team to deliver exceptional front-of-house service while ensuring adherence to SOPs and client procedures.
  • Manage reception scheduling, team cover, holiday approvals, and lead regular team meetings and training sessions.
  • Oversee the client journey and meeting/event bookings, ensuring proper systems are used and space is maximized without compromising service standards.
  • Liaise professionally with VIPs, stakeholders, and support teams (AV, IT, Facilities, and Catering) to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Ensure team compliance with Sodexo and client Health & Safety policies, including safety walks, near-miss reporting, and maintaining a hazard-free reception area.
  • Monitor service standards, drive continuous improvement, and act as a positive ambassador for the company at all times.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in a hotel or corporate reception environment, ideally as a duty manager, reception supervisor, or similar leadership role.
  • Minimum two years’ customer service experience, with proven team management or supervisory skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office); basic knowledge of AV, visitor management, and room booking systems is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and the ability to multitask effectively.

What we offer:

Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater. You’ll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you’ll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you’ll be able to thrive in your own way. In addition, we also offer a range of resources, rewards, and benefits for our colleagues and their families:

  • Unlimited access to an online platform offering mental health and well-being support.

  • The Sodexo Discounts Scheme offers great deals 24/7 (also open to friends and family).
  • Save for your future by becoming a member of the Mercer Aspire Pension Plan.
  • Opportunities to enable colleagues to grow and succeed throughout their careers at Sodexo, including a variety of learning and development tools.
  • Bike to Work Scheme to help colleagues to do their bit for the environment whilst keeping fit.
