SUMMARY

We are seeking dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team at Scarborough Hill Country Inn. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support during their visit. Your contributions will be vital in creating memorable experiences for our clientele.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    The position is part time and will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Due to our location transport is essential.
    Previous experience within the hospitality industry is essential however training will be given.

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
  • Manage reservations and check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the inn’s services and local attractions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and managing bookings.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during events.
  • Provide menu information, take orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen team
  • Some bar knowledge is required in order to serve drink and upsell our extensive wines and liquors
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Assist with events ensuring our high serving standards are met
