REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years’ experience in a café, canteen, or similar food and beverage environment
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and supervise a small team
  • Strong knowledge of smoothie and food preparation, equipment use, and food safety
  • Experience managing inventory, stock control, and ordering
  • Familiarity with end-of-day and financial reporting (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking ability
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20kg
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a full-time Front of House professional with a strong beverage focus to lead the daily operations of our wellness café. With a particular emphasis on smoothie production and service, this leadership role is ideal for someone with supervisory experience in a fast-paced café or canteen environment. You’ll ensure high standards in food and beverage quality, manage stock and equipment, guide and motivate the team, and play an important role in maintaining a positive, high-performing culture. You’ll also support reporting, financial accountability, and recruitment alongside the broader Food & Beverage team.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Monitor and manage variable costs (e.g. labour and stock)
  • Support reporting on cost control and performance
  • Contribute to cost-effective decision-making and menu planning
  • Take ownership of the café’s P&L and financial outcomes
